About the Journal

African Theological Review (ATRE) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal managed by the School of Theology and Religious Studies of Bugema University, Uganda. It provides an opportunity for scholars in all areas of theological studies to share their scholarship through research. The main objective of the journal is to provide original research for the proper application of Scriptures for the work of redemption. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
